Wreath Ceramic Ornament 1922-2022

In 1922, my grandfather and founder of our workshop, became a refugee to save his and his family’s lives. One hundred years later, we created this beautiful wreath in memoriam of all Greeks lost in the Asia Minor disaster. A greek war history memorabilia made with great care.

A fantastic piece of ceramic art created by the workshop of an acclaimed artist, an excellent idea for a gift to others or yourself. You can hang it on the wall, or it can decorate a bookshelf, the fireplace mantel space.

Hand-painted on ceramic, bisque tile made of red clay. All glazes and over-glazes that we use are lead-free.
You can place the tile in a frame. At the back of the frame, there is a hook to hang on the wall.

It measures approx. 5.90×5,90 inches ( 15x15cm ) without the frame and 6,69×6,69 inches ( 17x17cm ) with the frame and it’s weight is 1,23lb ( 0,56 kilos ).

Please note that each tile is hand-painted. That makes it special, meaning that each copy is different from the other. There may be some differences in the color between the pictures and the item you receive.

Each ceramic is carefully packaged and boxed to ensure safe transport to you.
